Hi, I'm Nils and I'm a photographer based in the GTA. I specialize in actor headshots in Toronto and the GTA helping you land the gigs and roles you're looking for.
I have shot with grammy-winning celebrities, top models that grace the largest billboards in the world, influencers, and many more. I know even for actors, headshots can be a pretty scary experience so my team and me will always make you feel super comfortable on set to do what we came to do: make you look your best. I am one of the rare Germans with a sense of humor and and you'll have a hard time not smiling when working with me.

Would you like to print your headshots on a billboard? We shoot on state of the art Sony Full Frame cameras and with ultra-sharp G-Master lenses. Your images come out of the camera with a whopping 61-megapixels meaning, if you wanted to, you actually could print those shots on a billboard!

We believe in creating natural-looking headshots for our clients that you feel proud to show everywhere. If you prefer a more commercial and clean look, we can also apply advanced skin-smoothing technologies to your images!

How long does an actor headshot session take?
Depending on your chosen package, our sessions range from as short as 30 minutes for a quick update, to 3h if you want to shoot an entire new lookbook.
What is the cost of actor headshots in Toronto?
Our packages range from $250 to $675 (check the pricing page for more details). If you're just starting out as an actor or have a creative project in mind, contact us.

Can I bring multiple outfit options for my actor headshot session?
You can bring as many outfits as you would like and we're happy to make some recommendations on what usually works. Please note that how many looks (lighting setups/ locations) we shoot depends on the package you're booking with us.
What type of background should I choose for my headshots?
If you're submitting your photos for a specific role, we recommend going for the mood that comes with that role. For example a character that's friendly or funny would typically be associated with a light or colorful background whereas someone that's more melancholic, more with a darker and muted-color background. We have a range of options available and will help you choose the best one.
What should I consider when choosing a photographer for my actor headshots?
Your actor headshot session is probably quite an intimate undertaking so we always recommend working with someone that you "vibe" with. Furthermore, one of the most tell-tell signs of a good connection is if you can easily reach and organize a session with your photographer. Lastly, make sure the photographer has sufficient experience for shooting actor headshots. A a
COVID-19 safety protocol
All of our photographers have received their Covid-19 vaccines and booster shots where applicable.
We follow all local on provincial government protocols to keep you, our client, safe during the shoot. That means we wash our hands regularly, we wear face covers throughout the shoot, we sanitize our hands in between appointments, and we keep a safe distance from you.
While we strongly recommend getting your vaccines, we do not require you to show proof of vaccination (subject to change based on governmental regulation) and do not question your personal choices. During your headshot session, you will most likely not want to wear a mask unless you work in the medical field.
We always sanitize high-traffic areas between each shoot in our studio and try our best to keep the entire space clean and disinfected. We usually have hand sanitizer and spare face masks available if you should require them or have a longer wait time.
