How to prepare

  • Bring your white coat pressed and lint-free — wrinkles read much more clearly in photos than in person
  • If wearing a stethoscope, position it naturally — it's a signal of your role, not a prop to hold
  • Conservative colour choices under the coat: white, light blue, navy — nothing patterned or bright
  • Minimal jewellery for clinical contexts; standard professional norms for non-clinical attire
